Resilient Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing financial assistance to cancer patients and their families. Our mission is to enable cancer patients to have someone they trust by their side during their diagnosis, treatment and recovery.

In 2019, our founder, José Travieso (Travy Joe), was diagnosed with Leukemia, a life-changing event that led to a 51-day hospital stay and 9 months of daily outpatient care.

This experience opened his eyes to the emotional, physical, and financial challenges that individuals and their families face when confronted with a cancer diagnosis.

Inspired by his own journey, José Travieso founded the Resilient Foundation with a mission to provide unwavering support to cancer patients during their diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

One of our key programs addresses a crucial need – covering airfare expenses for a family member or friend to be by the patient's side during treatment.

We understand that the support of a loved one can make a significant difference in a patient's journey. However, the last-minute airfares needed for these trips can be a substantial financial burden, ranging from $700 to $1000. This is where your support can truly make a difference.
